Welcome to L.D DANCE
.Give your dancer a taste of dance through a wide and inclusive selection of styles in our Monday and Friday evening classes! Styles such as Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, Commercial and much more, are rotated each week to ensure your dancer gets to explore many different genres of dance. 

The aim of L.D DANCE is to create a safe, supportive and encouraging space for individuals aged between 4-18+ to learn how to dance and express themselves, while also gaining the many benefits dance has to offer!

We direct our focus on the individual needs of every student and understand that each child has unique strengths and qualities. We strive to bring out the very best in each and every one of our dancers at
L.D DANCE.

Meet your teacher!
Laura Daly

Award winning choreographer, Laura Daly, started dancing at the young age of 5. Since starting her dance training she has had an exciting career in both professional work and dance teaching.  Laura teaches dance in Stage schools and secondary schools across Kerry. Laura has completed all of her IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) ballet grades up to intermediate level and is currently undertaking her IDTA level 4 Diploma in Dance Teaching, specialising in Ballet. Laura also holds her Diploma in Musical Theatre in the IBSD musical theatre branch.

Laura has been involved in many projects in her years of dancing. She has performed in several annual showcases in the national folk theatre of Ireland, Siámsa Tire, the Belltable Theatre in Limerick. Over the years Laura has been selected to showcase the power of dance through many amazing events, showcases and festivals such as the Lasta Festival and TED X  Tralee to name a few. She has also filmed International campaigns with organisations such as Kerry county council and Failte Ireland,  to promote the art of dance in Ireland.  Throughout her years of dancing and performing, Laura and her dancers have won many dance competitions, most recently being selected to bring her team of dancers to represent Ireland in the DANCE WORLD CUP in Spain this coming year, 2025.

Laura firmly believes that dance is not only a form of physical exercise but also a means of emotional expression, self-confidence building, and personal growth. Through her dedicated teaching, she strives to instill in her dancers a sense of  creativity, discipline and an unwavering belief in themselves. Classes at LD DANCE are not just about perfecting steps and movements; they are simply a part of each dancers journey , fostering a supportive approach to well-being that extends well and truly beyond the dance floor.
